Beginner
This course is for complete beginners or hairdressers who want to train as a barber.
The curriculum:
Initial Classroom Training
Classroom instruction covering general theory and practical application.
Hair Styling and Treatment
Instruction in a broad variety of styling techniques. Also, addressing all aspects of coloring for men’s hair and facial hair.
Job Ready Beginner
This course is for complete beginners or hairdressers who want to train as a barber as well as learn advance skills.
The curriculum:
Hair Styling and Treatment
Instruction in a broad variety of styling techniques. Also, addressing all aspects of coloring for men’s hair and facial hair.
Shaving and Skin care
Covers the art of and techniques for shaving men’s hair and facial hair. Also, skin care for men. It focuses on face, neck and scalp.
Advanced
Advanced course for existing barbers that have already completed the beginner’s course.
The curriculum:
Hair Styling and Treatment review
Review all of the past courses.
Shop Management
Includes sanitation and interpersonal relations.
Shaving, Skin care and Manicures
It is included as an extra for this course.
